HERMAN AND THE HERMITS WILL BE YOUR PEN PALS and send YOU GIFTS!

WHO DO YOU LOVE BEST? Who do you choose? Which one of the five fab guys who comprise Herman's Hermits is your absolutely A - Number - One fave? Is it Herman? Keith? Karl? Barry? Lek? Sure, it's hard to decide, cos they're all such out-of-this-world dreamboats. But you'd better make up your mind, for here is your chance to get a fantastic bunch of goodies as a personal gift to YOU from the HH you adore the most! When you have picked your top favorite lad from the group, this is 'what you do: Write a SHORT letter telling "WHY I LUV " (fill in the blank space with the name of the HH you choose: Herman, Keith, Karl, Barry or Lek). Write a very simple, straightforward letter giving your heartfelt reasons for choosing your favorite HH over all the others in the group. And write your letter on one side of the sheet only - don't write on the back! All letters submitted will be judged by Gloria Stavers, 16's Editor, and the five prize-winning letters will be the ones which, in her judgment, are the best-written from the standpoint of warmth and sincerity and feeling. Of course, there will be just one prize-winner of each boy's goodies - the best letter selecting Herman winning all of his gifts, the best letter selecting Keith winning all of his gifts, and so on to the last Hermit. And now let's take a look at these prize gifts. They're just fantabulous, too good to be true - but they are!

First, if you become one of the five prize-winners, your favorite HH will become your very own pen pal! Whoever you chose - Herman, Keith, Karl, Barry or Lek - will send you postcards and surprise gifts from various places the HH visit in their travels AND a handwritten letter a month for three months! Second, you will receive from your favorite HH a super-enormous (bigger than six feet tall and six feet wide) group portrait of all five Herman's Hermits.
