ALL WEDDINGS are festive occasions, but when the groom is none other than lovable, adorable, multi-talented and super-popular Peter "Herman" Noone - it's an extra-special event! Peter has always been (and always will be) very fond of his faithful fans - in fact, he refers to them as "dear friends." That's why Peter and his lovely new bride Mireille want to share this memorable day with each and every one of you. So, come along to England and greet the new Mr. and Mrs. Peter Blair Denis Bernard Noone! |
Peter and Mireille say "I do" at the Church of Immaculate Conception on Farm Street in London. The maid of honor was Mireille's older sister Virginie. Mickie Most, the Hermits record producer, served as best man. |
![]() The reception was held at Les Ambassadeurs, the most exclusive, elegant private club in London. The bride wore a white embroidered organza dress (topped off by a white ostrich feather head-gear) and the groom chose a double-breasted, custom made black velvet suit. |
![]() Harvey Lisberg (left) and Charlie Silverman (right), close friends as well as managers of Herman's Hermits, were on hand to join in the celebration. By the way, Peter was best man at Charlie's wedding last September. |
![]() Peter has always been devoted to his family. Here, the bride and groom pose with his mom and dad, Joan and Denis Noone, and Peter's beautiful baby sisters, Suzanne (4) and Louise (2). Peter's older sister, Denise, was there too - but didn't get in the picture. |
![]() Another family portrait - Herman's Hermits and their wives - all but Barry's bride, that is. Dale couldn't make it to the wedding, cos she was expectin' a little Whitwam any day. |
![]() Oh yes - another reason this day, November 5, 1968, is so special; not only was it Peter and Mireille's wedding day - but it was also Peter's twenty-first birthday! 16-ers toast the bride and groom - and wish them all the happiness in the world! |
