HERMAN AND THE HERMITS have just completed their second MGM movie, Mrs. Brown You've Got A Lovely Daughter. In the film, Herman essentially plays himself - a charming lad from Manchester. But you can rest assured that Mrs. Brown will be full of super-delightful surprises and some of the greatest Herman and the Hermits' type tunes you've ever heard. It's a don't miss! However, you are going to wait, cos no release date for the American showing of Herman's film has been decided on yet.
It is very likely that Mrs. Brown You've Got A Lovely Daughter will be released in the States this coming Christmas. It's completely sure that before the film is released, all of you 16-Spec lovers will get a sneak preview (complete with story and pics) in a future issue of 16 Magazine. So hang in there, leetle-luvs - for Herman and 16 guarantee to deliver the goods!
FAMILY NEWS
Herman not only bought a mansion in Kent for himself and his family, but he also bought an inn-hotel in a rustic English community. Mr. and Mrs. Noone are completely revamping it and will run it themselves. When it is open for business, the address will be printed in 16 Magazines. Who knows, if you vacation there, their adorable son Peter may pop in once or twice!
Karl's marriage to his 17-year-old sweetheart, Jill Davies, is now public knowledge. But here's a scoop: Barry Whitwam has become engaged to his steady girl friend Dale Lucky, and Keith Hopwood is engaged to his regular bird Penny Pagni. No wedding dates have been set. That leaves Herman and Lek up for grabs girls. Lotza luck!
