 Graham Gouldman, who works in the Manchester management office that helps to run Herman and his Hermits, was walking along a street one day and saw a note left on a doorstep for a milkman. It said: "No Milk Today". "What a great idea for a song," thought Graham - and another monumental hit for Herman was given life.
