 HERMAN, leader of the Hermits pop group, is to marry a French girl, Mireille Strasser, on November 5 - his 21st birthday. Herman, real name Peter Noone, announced their engagement yesterday. He said: 'We met in a London club about a year ago and have been going steady ever since.' Mireille, 22, a company director's daughter, is not a pop fan. But she said of Herman: 'He is just marvellous.' 'The wedding will be in London, at a Catholic church. Herman said: 'We have not decided which church it will be. Everything has been in such a rush.' |
