Ray Cameron Reports on the Herman Tour

THIS week comedian RAY CAMERON writes the last chapter to the HERMAN tour saga.
Once again another tour is finished. This one has been as hectic as any other with funny and frightening things happening everywhere. Take Maidstone for example.
WAYNE was travelling down from Manchester when his car broke down. Eventually he reached London and got a lift from P.J. PROBY, but his arrival at the theatre was so late that HERMAN had already gone on.
The GAMBLERS had played three extra numbers and BILLY FURY was waiting to go on again. When Herman finished, the Queen was played, but the kids still refused to go. They kept shouting "We want Wayne." At that moment Wayne turned up and went straight on stage to the most fantastic reception he has received on the tour.
The latest craze, B'DUMPFA spotting. Every time the coach goes past some road works, the first person to spot one of those pneumatic road thumpers shouts "B'dumpfa."
The last night was at Manchester, and after the show Herman threw a good-bye party for everyone at Mr. Smith's.
