As his spec summer tour was coming to an end (as all groovy things must!) ... HERMAN checked in with a breathless burst of personal surprises! These are some of the fab fax he wanted all FLIP-ers to share with him!
    1. MRS. BROWN is a racing greyhound dog! At least, that's the surprising shape she'll appear as in "Mrs. Brown, You Have a Lovely Daughter," the movie Herman and The Hermits made early in the summer for release next Spring.
    2. HERMAN's put on weight! He's still three or four pounds underweight for his height, but he's looking kinda chubby these days because he used to be so skinny! And the way he combs his hair in the movie, as you can see in the pics on this page, makes him look still heavier.
    3. THE HERMITS flipped out over the groovy plane they "lived" in for the summer tour, sharing it with The Who and The Blues Magoos, who were also on the tour. It's a converted prop jet plane for 102 people, but it's been luxuriously customized to hold 40 Very Important People! The guys loved the plane, and were sorry to leave it for the last time at the close of the tour.
    4. THE WHO break up their equipment on stage during the act, and The Hermits were "warned" about The Who's action antics. So Herman made sure that they had extra equipment with them during the tour ... and he, Lek, Barry, Keith and Karl took turns "guarding" The Hermits' instruments on stage every time The Who came on!
    5. THE MOVIE is completed, and the guys just have to spend one week in September in London going over some of the recording for the film. Last time Herman was in London, after they completed the film, he celebrated by inviting everyone on board a spectacular yacht for a four-day cruise on The Thames! It was the wildest floating pop party London's ever seen, and everybody's hoping that Herman will repeat it soon.
