Once upon a time in Manchester, there was a groovy 19-year- old guy named Herman Tulley (that's Peter Noone, of course) who had four friends-Barry, Derek, Keith and Karl (those are the Hermits, in case you forgot!). He also had a greyhound (dog, not bus!) named Mrs. Brown, and a girl-next-door named Tulip, who's in love with him-whether he knows it or not! When the boys enter Mrs. Brown In a dog race in Manchester, they meet a wealthy Londoner named Mr. Brown. (Whata coincidence!) Mr. Brown has a wife named Mrs. Brown. And a Lovely Daughter named Judy. (The Plot Thickens!) So the five boys head for London where they hope to find fame and fortune. What actually hap~ pens is they meet a con man, lose their life savings, and end up selling apples on street corners. They also play lots of Herman music. And that's all we're gonna tell you about "Mrs. Brown You've Got A Lovely Daughter"-which is MGM's new movie starring Peter Noone and Herman's Hermits (and a few other groovy people!) Except that everybody lives Happily Ever After, which is how a Herman movie should end-right?!
