Although it's hard to believe, Peter Noone - better known to most of you as Herman of Herman's Hermits-is "one of the shiest people around." "I'm really quite amazed at myself every time I realize that I'm out on a stage
performing before thousands of people," Peter told me recently, during a break in the
taping of his segment of an ABC television special on pop music. "You know how it is, I
get the feeling that it can't be real. The feeling that it isn't really me, bashful Peter Noone, out there.
 Being shy doesn't have to throw you into a panic. It can be your biggest asset. That's the way it happened for Herman, once he learned to follow a few simple rules. |
