HERMAN'S HERMITS, the five young English singers, came to America, and Herman (who is really Peter Noone) had one complaint: "We wanted to see all the sights in New York, but you can imagine our visiting the Statue of Liberty with a few thousand fans swarming all around us. We know that we owe everything to our fans, but we wish, at the same time, there could be a few minutes of peace so we could enjoy life, too." |
