Here I am with Herman's Hermits backstage at Kiel Auditorium. I interviewed the fellows between their two big shows, and thought them extremely nice chaps. They told me they're all from Manchester, England, and between the ages of 18 and 20. This is their first big tour of America, and they are very happy with the warm reception given them. They plan to start their first major film in September entitled, "There's No Place Like Space". After talking for a while, we all went to the Prom Magazine interview before the second show. I remember one girl asking if they had steady girls. They replied with a resounding "no," all except Herman who added, "I had a girl, but it lasted only about three days." Some of their hits which they played during their performances were: "Henry The Eighth", "Wonderful World", and "Mrs. Brown You've Got A Lovely Daughter."
