While meeting with HERMAN'S HERMITS at an MGM Records brunch Herman told me that he was named one of England's top 10 best dressed men, by the clothing Mfg. Federation. Herman, whose real name is Peter Noone, Age 17, is probably the youngest recipient of the honor in it's history. When told of the award, Herman first looked astounded and then muttered "Gads, and all me clothes are missing." He told me that his trunk was either misrouted or lost between London and L.A. and, as of this writing, has not been located. The panic was on - to find Herman a suit that fit, so that he could meet with the newsmen and photographers who wanted statements from him. Herman, sporting his new suit, finally met the press with a pressed suit of flawless fit!
