Herman's Hermits On A Girl Hunt!
Those "crazy" Hermits are on the rampage again! This time, they're searching for "birds." Join TT as we follow those fab guys on the wildest, wackiest expedition they've ever been on!

Even busy guys like Herman's Hermits turn away from their music long enough to look for girls. As a matter of fact, sometimes they really take off on a girl-hunt - lookin' for a certain type of gal! This story is going to tell you just what we mean...
Herman's Hermits were in the midst of a rollicking blast at a party they were invited to. After about five of their swinging numbers, they decided to mingle with the crowd to see what they could see in the "girl market."
Lek, being so crazy about clothes, was really "dressed!" He could attract any girl. And sure enough, he immediately started talking to a slender blonde with intriguing gray eyes. Then, joker Keith Hopwood, our lead and rhythm guitarist, peeked over Lek's shoulder and uttered, "Hmmm, hullo there!"
Lek, annoyed at this interruption, turned around and said, "Look, Keith, if you'd be so good as to not to interrupt a conversation, I'd appreciate it!"
"Sorry, ol' chap!" grumbled Keith, and walked away.
Meanwhile, Barry Whitwam was involved with a spilled drink. He was on his hands and knees sopping it up from the floor. How did he spill his drink? He didn't. It was spilled for him, accidentally of course, by a pretty young miss who was overly eager to get his autograph. But he didn't mind, even though she seemed quite embarrassed, and was trying to help clean up the "spill." In two seconds flat, Barry had taken care of the matter, and all was well.
He looked up at her and said, "Hi, what's your name?"

The dark, pretty, medium height girl with deep brown eyes looked into Barry's eyes and said, "My name's Shirley. Really, I'm awfully sorry, I just wanted your autograph, and then I accidentally bumped your hand with the drink in it."
"Don't worry your pretty head about that!" replied Barry. "Are you going to school?"
Shirley said, "Yes, I'm planning to be a nurse."
"Oh, great!" said Barry. "Do you like sports?'
"Sure I do. I love to water ski especially!" replied Shirley.
Barry, who could never be considered a "slow worker," said, "Well, then maybe you'll like to come boating with me sometime!"
While all this was going on, Karl Green's "girl-preference" came on the scene. She was short, with a cute little figure and a dashing smile. Karl managed to edge over in her direction and offer her a coke.
"Oh, thanks! Are you Karl?" she asked, recognizing him.
    "Yes, and you?"
    "I'm Sandra. Isn't this exciting?"
"Well, I guess so," said Karl.
In the meantime, Keith was pretty busy too. He no longer looked over Lek's shoulder at the pretty blonde - he'd found the gal he liked! She was a real cute girl who was doing the monkey with him. The monkey number stopped, and Keith started talking. One of the things he told her was that he liked horror movies!
"They're just about my favorite kind of movie!" said Keith. "Do you like them, Marilyn?"
    "yes I do. Some coincidence!"
"Would you like to come with me to see one?" said Keith.
    "Sure!" she said, smiling.
"Good," Keith said, smiling too. Then he looked around the room. "Where's Herman? I don't see him anywhere!"
A few minutes later, in came Herman with a rather large box. He opened it and took out a beautiful corsage for "his lady". Who was she? Well, he took the corsage over to a beautiful dark-haired, blue-eyed girl seated quietly in a chair. She stood up.
"Gee, Herman," she told him, "you have no idea how I love flowers!"
He was pleased - she was pleased. In fact, all the boys were pleased with their dates. They enjoyed their girl-hunt and could hardly wait to have another!
