| Our male award goes to another one of our favorite people. We love Herman of the Hermits for his music and his singing and his cute good looks, but this month he wins a Ziggy for another thing. Few people know about it because his hometown newspapers didn't give it much publicity, but Herman was walking down a street near home when he saw an older woman facing certain death in front of a speeding car. Without any regard for his own safety Herman ran out and pulled her back - saving her life. In these days when teen mischief makes headlines, someone should recognize the heroic good deeds we teens do and say: WELL DONE OLD CHAP! | |
