| SUBJECT | GRADE | TEACHER'S COMMENTS |
|---|---|---|
| ENGLISH | B- | Herman took speech lessons to get rid of his Manchester accent. Well, he did get rid of it, but decided it would be a good idea to speak with a Lancashire accent. Herm claims, "They luv to hear it in America!" And do we ever! |
| SHOP | D | Herm isn't too fond of "shop," but he adores shopping - for clothes! It wasn't always like that, though. There once was a time when Herm wouldn't wear anything else but a pair of dirty old jeans and an old shirt. He knew that his parents didn't approve of his dressing like that, so he used to hide his jeans in the garage. This way, his parents wouldn't see him wear them when he went out! |
| SPORTS | A- | Herman's a real "go-getter" when it comes to sports. He just loves swimming and football. And he used to be the "peppiest" member at this school's pep rallies. Herm would sit in the stands and yell 'n cheer 'n act like a real "nut!" But he loved every minute of it! And with all the school spirit he had, it's no wonder his football team won so many games! |
| MUSIC | A | Herman gets a top grade in music today. But if we had to grade him a long time ago, we would have given him a C. Why? Herm revealed that he "once played cymbals or triangle or something" in the school band. (Wonder why he can't remember which?) But he quit because he got bored with rehearsals and didn't think "there was any future in it!" How wrong he was! |
| HISTORY | F+ | Herman was never too good at remembering names and places, but he certainly remembers his "dates!" |
| "SOCIAL STUDIES" | B+ | Herm's dating time is limited, but when he does date, a girl couldn't ask for a more perfect escort! As a point of information, he thinks the greatest way to spend a date is by going to an amusement park and stuffing himself with all kinds of goodies! |
| BIOLOGY | A | Herman was very careful about doing his homework in this subject. He used to spend at least two hours a night on it! The reason? - he wanted to be a doctor! And not just any doctor, but the best one in England! Aren't we glad he changed his mind and decided to become the best entertainer instead? |
| READING | D- | Herm thinks "the classics" refer to James Bond and Mickey Spillane novels! He's read every one that's ever been printed! No, Herm, Hamlet isn't an enemy agent! |
| PHYSICS | B+ | Here's a subject where Herm showed off just how clever he can really be. His teacher once asked the class if anyone knew what the word "physics" meant. No one in the class knew, including our Herm. But he was sly enough to take a peek at the answer in his book! When he answered the question correctly, his teacher was so pleased! He thought Herm knew the right answer all along! Tsk, tsk, Herm! Shame on you for fooling your teacher like that! |
| ASTRONOMY | A+++ | There's no question in our minds that Herman is one of the most brilliant "stars" in our galaxy - or any other for that matter! Keep shining, Herm - forever! |
