Peter (Herman) Noone is a teen-age millionaire. Within a few short years he has become the idol of girls the world over. With records, appearances and now movies taking practically all of his time, there is hardly any left for an active social life. "Besides," he says with an impish grin, "going steady is a drag. It ties you down and keeps you from seeing someone else you may like. Anyway, I'm too fickle and can't stick to one girl at a time." This is pretty sound thinking from an 18-year old, but not unusual for Herman because he is a very mature lad who knows what he wants out of life. Another reason for not tying himself down is that the boys are constantly rushing around from one corner of the globe to the other. Being very close to his family, Herman thinks nothing of flying home from wherever he may be to see his mum . . . and especially his brand new baby sister. His 19-year old sister Denise, who is married is very close to Herman, and he keeps urging her to sing but "she is very shy and gets embarrassed even seeing her picture in the paper. But she really can sing," he says like the proud brother that he is. The boys recently completed tours of Japan, Hawaii and Australia where they were mobbed by thousands of screaming fans. Although they've been to N.Y. many times, they rarely get time to do any sightseeing. What they do see are hotel rooms, back stairways and dressing rooms. So girls, if you think you can keep up with Herm - that is once you have caught him, remember his warning: "I'm fickle!"
