  The success story of HERMAN NOONE, the cheeky faced lad from Manchester, is causing eyebrows to raise a millimetre or two even in popland and believe us that's an area where stony immovable countenances are the order of the day. The reason is that young Herman has landed a million dollar contract with MGM for recording and films. The contract calls on Herman and the Hermits to star in "a number of films" for MGM. His first film for the company, "Hold On" is expected on British screens any day now and we're exporting the lads back to the States in September for TV and touring work. |
