Herman's Hermits and KBTR Continue Close Relationship

It was just about five weeks ago when KBTR world-premiered the Beatles single, "Paperback Writer". Two weeks ago, the All Americans had the honor of introducing the Beatles' album "Yesterday and Today" to the entire West. Last Monday, in keeping with the policy of being the station to premiere the newest hits first, the KBTR All Americans were chosen to give the world a premiere of Herman's Hermits' new disc, "This Door Swings Both Ways".
This sensational new release was rushed to KBTR via jet last Sunday night to be premiered on KBTR, the station that has always been close to the Hermits. The unusual style employed on the tune is of a calypso type sound, that is destined for the top of the charts in a matter of weeks.
This release is almost simultaneous with the group's month long tour, commencing July 1st in Honolulu. By the time the group appears in each

of the scheduled cities, their newest release is expected to be at the top of the charts wherever they appear.
It's a special honor that KBTR should be chosen to premiere the new release, for during the past year, the All Americans have become close friends with the famed English group. Since KBTR presented the Hermits last August, the All Americans have introduced many of their new releases, and were chosen by Herman himself to sell his sweatshirts in the Denver area. The sweatshirts were approved by Herm, and sent to KBTR for exclusive sale to Denver fans through the All Americans.
So, as the Hermits prepare for their second visit to Denver, KBTR is proud of the close relationship which has developed over the past year. The group this year is being presented in this city by Ed Weimer Productions, an independent promoter in the Denver area.
KBTR is honored to have been chosen to present the Hermits record exclusively in Denver, and looks forward to having all of Denver join the All Americans for the big Hermits show, July 6, at Bears Stadium. Tickets for the show are available for $2.50 General Admission, and $3.75 for Reserved seats.
