![]() Herman's door swings both ways and so does his music. The Hermits' new LP release on the M.G.M. label titled "Both Sides of Herman's Hermits" is a pleasant mixture of rock and olde worlde music hall songs that have been sung in British pubs for almost a century. Side one is definitely for the rockers with such tracks as "This Door Swings Both Ways," "Bus Stop" and "Dial My Number". But if you are the type who dug "Henry VIII" then you'll love side two. Herman and the boys resurrect "Oh Mr. Porter", "Two Lovely Black Eyes" and "My Old Dutch" . . . guaranteed to set any party swinging. And when you get fed up listening, turn over the cover and play spot the celebrity.
