Although HERMAN (PETER NOONE) is very popular in America, he seems to think he's having a rather hard time in Britain (who isn't these days?) The problem is that here Herman's never really been able to forget that he's pop's "little boy" and the owner of a string of successful hit singles. "On TV in Britain all they want to hear is the latest single. I don't think we've ever been given the chance to say even two words, just 'this is our latest single - thank you very much'," Herman told me. "At least in America, we've done interesting things on TV. And I've had offers of musicals - something that never happens at home." |
