Wowee! Ever seen a pair of eyes pop clear six inches out of someone's head? Or a mop of hair stand up on end with excitement? Or a mouth gaping open so wide it could catch half the flies in the territory? You haven't? Then you didn't see HERMAN when he first saw Hollywood!
"I just couldn't believe it when I got there," he bubbled. "In fact I even had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming! I mean, two years ago Hollywood was a place I used to read about in the magazines and see in the films. Who'd have ever thought that one day Peter Noone from Manchester would be going there! And to make films too! Certainly not Noone I can tell you!
And what's more it was just how I imagined it would be. Sunset Strip; Hollywood Boulevard; Disneyland - and all those big posh houses where the film stars live! And all that gorgeous sun. Coming from England I never believed that weather like that really existed!
And working with CONNIE FRANCIS and HARVE PRESNELL on Where The Boys Are! I was a bit scared at first on the film set, but everyone was so nice and friendly that the Hermits and me soon got over our nerves. Then making Hold On with SHELLEY FABARES! Well, she's even more gorgeous that her photos and great fun to boot! ELVIS PRESLEY! Wow, I still can't believe I met him!
And all that living in luxury! That's the life for me, folks! I really lapped up that Hollywood-style living. I mean, who wouldn't!"
