Dating a boy like Herman would be fab for any girl, so it's a good thing to know what he's looking for in a feminine partner. As Herman admits, it's hard to define why you like or don't like a girl. You see her and sometimes that's it. But there are a few things he looks for in a girl.   4. Loyalty is very important to me. I like a girl who's loyal to her friends and that includes me.
  5. She should be punctual. It isn't fair for a girl to keep a boy waiting.
  6. She should wear makeup but not too much.

  8. She should be a good cook.
  9. I like to laugh so it's fun to be with a girl who has a good sense of humor.
  10. The way a girl looks is important, but it's even more important to me that a girl be a kind and considerate person on the inside.
  11. Being a good listener is a fine thing for a girl to be.
  12. Her clothes should suit her and not be what every other girl is wearing just because they're fashionable. They should be simple and feminine. I don't like way-out styles on girls.
  13. She can wear perfume as long as it's not overpowering.
  14. Big jewelry is out. It detracts from the girl.
  15. Real high heels on a short girl are all right, but I prefer a medium heel for most girls. It's more graceful.

  18. I don't like to hear a girl talk behind else's someone's back. It makes me think she'll talk about me this way, too.

  20. Eyes are very important. I like to see a girl whose eyes light up when she enters a room.
  21. I like a girl who makes you think she's interested in you and other people and she doesn't talk a lot about herself.
  22. Shiny hair is very appealing. It should look as if it has just been brushed.
  23. Posture is important. A girl should stand up straight no matter how tall she is.
  24. She should have well manicured nails.
  25. I like a girl who's really a girl and is proud of it. I just like plain old fashioned feminine girls.
