![]() Setting the Scene: His whole face just lit up! "Wait 'till you see them. My sisters are the most beautiful little girls in the whole entire world!" "I understand you got a new nanny for your sisters. What's she like, Peter ?" He whistled, "I think she's really a nice girl. She's 15 and she's six foot. She's going to be about six foot seven and she takes size 11 shoes and in England that's three sizes bigger than mine and I've got big feet!" We talked about his sisters for a while longer and then I asked him about his first date. "I went to a little park and I just kissed her and said that I loved her and then took her home in the pouring bloody rain."
"Oh yes, lots of times. I used to go over to Paris every weekend. We were sort of relations and I used to take her out a lot. She used to show me all the clubs there and teach me how to speak French and that's how I can speak French, because of this girl." "Peter, what is the difference between the clubs in Paris and in London?" "They're a lot happier in Fans discotheques; a bit more wild." "Since there is a difference in the discotheques, is there also a difference between the English and the French girls?" "Yes. Everyone's different aren't they. All the countries are different. Like, even people in California are different from people in Texas. It's great when they're all individual. I went out with a Japanese girl whose father was the Japanese Ambassador to England and she took me out to all the Japanese restaurants and taught me all about Japanese foods. She taught me how to eat Sukiyaki and drink Saki and that was great. The Japanese restaurants used to just knock me out and after dinner we used to go and look around the town and things." "Did anything interesting happen with the Japanese girl that had never happened before?" "Yes, I went to an eastern restaurant where I didn't understand what was being said and she would translate for me. I felt very strange about it. Even in German, which is very hard for English people to understand, I could understand some of the words, but I was lost in the Japanese restaurants.I couldn't understand anything." "Who was the most interesting girl you've ever dated around the world?" "Well, that depends on what you mean by interesting. That experience at the Japanese restaurant was interesting because it was something that had never happened before."
"In Japan actually, the girls open the doors for you and light cigarettes for you and things like that. It's pretty good that, you know. But I don't go out with girls that aren't well mannered anyway and you can tell straightaway whether girls have good manners by the way they act. If they're very loud, it shows they're either very embarrassed or they've got very bad manners. You can tell the difference between the two things. If she's embarrassed she's not only noisy but nervous and fidgety as well. |
If she's just got bad manners then she's just screaming all over the place and shouting hello at the top of her lungs." Peter then let out a shrieking "Hello" that I'd swear could have been heard two miles away and said, "You see, loud!" Then he looked at me, blinked his blue eyes very wide and smiled asking for the next question. I readjusted my ears and asked, "Do you prefer to order for your date at dinner or do you prefer to let her choose and then have you order what she wants?" "Oh, order for themselves, good Grief!! I never know what other people want to eat. I can't stand going out with a bird who couldn't order what she wanted to eat."
"I think that the most interesting one was with an Irish girl that I used to go horseback riding with when I was seven. It was a nice relationship you know. She taught me how to ride a horse and she was a nice girl. That was my first sort of really giant love affair. I have them once a month or so, big ones you know. I used to write to her every week and call her up and things like that you know." "Didn't it cost a lot to call her? "Yes, but it isn't really far. It was only about 100 miles from where I lived." "What was the longest distance call you ever made to girl?" "From L.A. to London. She was a very special girl at the time." "Who is your current special girl, Peter?" "I don't know really. I'm sort of in a mix-up over three or four at the moment. You know I'm sort of very weird. Like, one day I'll fancy one sort of person and the next I'll fancy another sort of person. My tastes in girls seem to be constantly changing. I used to like the real short girls and now I seem to be going for the bigger, taller ones. Who knows what kind of girl I'll like when I see you next because my ideas are constantly changing."
![]() "Oh I've been out with some girls in America that have been like lots and lots of fun. I've been out with girls in England who are lots of fun and I've been out with girls in France that are lots of fun." "But do their ideas of fun differ, are they different?" "Not really no. I feel most girls ideas of fun is like jokes and things like that and you see, I'm always taking the micky out of girls. You know, I never say 'Wow! you look really great !' When they look great I say, 'Wow, you look horrible' or something like that so, it's just like a nasty thing I've got which is only in fun you know. I tell them later that I was only joking, but it's always a good start because girls expect you to say they look great."
"How do you feel about girls who fight over you?" |
