    We are snowed under with letters from you every month, telling us why you think a certain group guy is the gearest, grooviest boy in the world. when you really love your fave, nobody anywhere can put it into words better than you can, so the editors of TIGER BEAT are giving you this contest to show off your writing talents and how you really feel about that wonderful someone.
    It's easy to enter: On the following pages we've picked out some of the handsome guys who have been rating the raves from you readers. (If we haven't included your special heartbeat, let us know who he is, so we can put him a future issue.) Choose th one you love best, put your thinking machine in action, and write an 8-line verse telling him why you feel the way you do. For an example, heres' one that was penned to Paul McCartney:

    To Paul, my favorite of the four,
    Is it your big eyes I adore?
    Or maybe it's the way you sound
    That makes my poor heart flop around!
    I love your walk, your talk, your hair,
    I'm happy just to know you're there.
    Although I'm sure we'll never meet,
    Just hearing you makes my life sweet!
