HERMAN'S HERMITS, the melody-packed half-hour speical made when the British group visited Australia recently, will be seen on BCV8 at 7:00 on Tuesday April 19.
Herman and his mad-cap Hermits sing some of the songs which have made them one of Britain's top recording and film star teams. The group mixes ballads with wild pops.
Its leader is Peter Noone, a 19-year-old who earned his nickname Herman because of his resemblance to the cartoon character Sherman.
Noone plays the piano, Keith Hopwood and Derek Leckenby are guitarists; Karl Green is a bass guitarist and harmonica player; and Barry Whitwam plays drums.
Among the songs they sing are Jezebel, I'm Into Something Good and She's A Must To Avoid.
