 Herman's Hermits On Tour (MGM) - Out of all the rock 'n' roll vocal groups flooding the market with sounds that are indistinguishable one from the other, a few have developed individual styles that set them apart. Herman's Hermits is one such group. The English lads toured this country last spring, drawing fantastically large crowds of teenagers wherever they appeared. This album contains songs that proved most popular, including "Silhouettes," "Can't You Hear My Heartbeat," and their current best-selling single, "I'm Henry VIII, I Am." Herman's quaint British accent on the latter perhaps accounts for the group's success over here. Of course, there's that rockin' beat, which seems to automatically guarantee sales on both sides of the Atlantic. |
