Herman's Hermits "Sunshine Girl has been released here to tie in with their present concert tour, and hopefully, will do as well in the U.S. as it's doing on home ground.
Peter Noone is thrilled at its British success and told me: "As far as I know, this is the highest any of our records have gone on the charts first time in."
Their tour here is doing very well and will take Peter and the Hermits through August 24. On this trip, newly married Derek Leckenby brought wife Leonie with him, and Keith Hopwood's wife, Penny and their new baby, will be arriving at the beginning of next week.
