HERMAN'S HERMITS are expected to turn down an offer to appear on the same bill with Chuck Berry at the Paris Olympia on February 21. Says their manager, Danny Betesh: "Quite frankly, Herman and Chuck Berry wouldn't be a good mixture on the same bill." The Olympia offer was made as Herman goes to Paris from February 20-23 for TV dates. To promote his new single, "There's A Kind of Hush," Herman appears on TV's "Doddy's Music Box (Saturday) and "Crackerjack" (17). He makes radio appearances on "Saturday Club" (Saturday), "Pop Inn" (7), "Easy Beat" (12), "Monday, Monday" (13). |
