I've just heard of another group with an unusual name, HERMIE AND THE HERMITS, who we expect to see at the Oasis sometime next month. I like a group to have a name that is original, because it gives the audience something to think about. For instance, can you imagine a group called something like Count Dracula and the Black Bats. As soon as you see that name on the poster it conjures up ideas about what they should be like, what they should wear, and sound like. This is good, providing the group can reproduce these ideas.     When you think of Screamin' Lord Sutch you automatically think of noise without even having seen him, and he gives just that. So all you groups, and boys who are thinking of forming groups, remember your name is very important, that is what people see and hear before seeing you. First impressions count.
